It’s been less than a year now since Corsair unveiled its Graphite Series 600T, a sophisticated, mid-tower computer case which was received by the market with an average response. But seems like, in Corsair’s book, the 600T was still a considerable success as they are coming up with yet another offering in that same product line up- the Corsair 600T White Special Edition. At first glance, it becomes vividly clear that the new offering by the company is hardly separable from the original product except for the color and a few minor tweaks here and there. However, Corsair perhaps did not want the two products to become just carbon copies of each other, and that's why decided to make some changes in the left side panel (yes, they made it transparent this time around). Call me a cynic- but personally, it hardly made any difference to me- as in my eyes, both the products look more or less the same, again, except for the color of course.
The product does not come with a door on the front panel, and features four 5.25’’ bays (with meshed covers). Towards the bottom part, the 600T White carries a 200 mm fan, equipped with air fitter which can be easily removed with a mere push. However, details of the fan are not provided. The three-pin connector enables you to keep an eye on its speed once you connect it to the motherboard. Also, the fan features white colored LEDs which, you have to admit, is more of a show than being of any practical use.
The bottom panel of the product also comes with an air fitter, which is kind of similar to the ones used by the power supply. Just like the fan at the front panel, the air fitter at the bottom can also be removed by simply pushing.
One advantage the 600T White enjoys over the original version of the product is that it comes with 8 expansion slots in comparison to the seven featured by its twin brother.
Some of the other highlighting aspects in our opinion are: six internal 3.5’’/2.5 bays, four USB 2.0 ports and one USB 3.0 ports as well as sufficient provision for the motherboard to access the backplate of the CPU cooler.
The connectors, especially those in the front panel are well organized and easy to access. The numbers of USB ports are sufficient, though nothing extra ordinary in comparison to other products within the same range.
All in all, in our opinion, the Corsair 600T White Special Edition is not anything out of the box from the company if compared to the original 600T case, but it certainly brings along with it quality and a trendy look. Also, the price is decent enough! So, do we recommend it? Yes, we do! Corsair graphite 600T Gaming Case has an eye-catching and sturdy built and impressive airflow capacity. It is also highly flexible and offers you a lots of choices regarding many of its properties. The design of this case is undoubtedly first rate and we can be certain that it will be a good performer as well.
