Pampering your PC by introducing a brand new liquid CPU cooler, no doubt, sounds like a great idea to perhaps all of us. But then again, more often than not, I have seen people shying away from the idea for their sheer displeasure with spending a hefty sum as demanded by the process as well as for the risks involving such a set up wherein, even a minor glitch can sometimes lead to a catastrophic disaster for the host PC.

However, as more and more reputed manufacturers in the industry are taking an extra interest in making available these water cooling solutions for personal computers, and that too at a cheaper price, the trend has been seen undergoing a massive and swift change. Amongst these leading vendors, Corsair was one of the firsts to take the initiative for introducing an affordable all-in-one water cooling solution for PCs with its Corsair H50 some three years back. And believe me, that was just the beginning- the company, since then, has launched a few more water cooling products such as the Corsair H60- which kind of repeated the success story of the H50 with its own might and so, the geeks here, at Evetech are going to give you brief overview of all the pros and cons associated with the product today.

The Corsair H60 comes with a pretty decent price, and features a carefully put design. The weight is pretty negligible and the overall dimensions of the radiator stand at 120mm x 152mm 27mm. At the core of the product, lays its powerful and custom designed 120 mm fan with a speed up to 1700 revolutions per minute. The dimensions of the fan are 120mm x 25mm.
The fan produces a pretty low noise level- typically 30.2dBA, whereas the fan airflow can go as high as 74.4 CFM. The cold plate is entirely made of Copper, and the fan static pressure, which stands at 3.2 mm H20, has been found pretty effective when it comes to serving the cooling requirements of your PC- at least that’s what occurred to us after spending a considerable time with the product.
The supported CPU sockets are Intel LGA 1155, LGA 1156, LGA 1366, LGA 775 as well as AMD’s AMD AM2 and AM3.
Now, let’s weigh down all the pros against the cons that you can expect with the H60. One of its most attractive features is its nice, great looking design. The cooling system also comes with a decent five year warranty along with strong customer support. The H60 CPU Cooler is capable of providing you with a desired output with its high performance across a wide spectrum of fan profiles and heat loads.
However, the installation process could have been much simpler for the cooling system but otherwise its a great product.
Now, to conclude with, if you chose to ignore the little bit of complexity in the installation process, the Corsair H60 is a pretty decent product to go for as its cheaper, and powerful enough to look after your CPU’s cooling needs in a highly efficient manner. A big YES! From us if you are planning to purchase it.
