The same panel technology serves very different desks, and the tier that suits each one is not the same.

Sharp text and a stand that reaches eye level
A second screen for chat, alerts and the mixer
Curved VA contrast for open worlds after dark
A monitor is the last component in the chain and the only one you look at. These six points cover what AOC actually puts into that chain.
At the top of the AGON PRO range a QD-OLED panel refreshes 500 times a second with a quoted 0.03ms grey-to-grey transition. The practical gain is not raw speed but consistency: each frame is on screen and finished before the next one is due, so fast camera pans stay legible instead of smearing.
Emissive panels switch each pixel off individually, so a night scene keeps its shadow detail instead of turning into grey mush. Shadow Control then raises only the lowest part of the tonal range, which is why it reveals a doorway without washing out the sky above it.
FreeSync Premium and G-SYNC Compatible validation let the panel change its refresh rate to match whatever the graphics card produces. Below the panel's minimum rate, low framerate compensation repeats frames so the picture stays smooth rather than juddering.
Flicker-Free operation and Low Blue Light modes are certified by TÜV Rheinland on the models that carry the badge. The blue light setting shifts colour temperature rather than dropping brightness, so the screen stays usable while the spectrum changes.
Height, tilt, swivel and pivot adjustment with marked scales means you can set the top edge at eye level and record the position. Where a monitor arm suits the desk better, the 100x100mm VESA pattern on the rear takes over.
Preset modes for FPS, RTS, racing and role-playing titles change gamma and saturation in one step. Game Colour adjusts saturation on the fly, Dial Point puts a fixed crosshair on the panel itself, and G-Menu saves the lot as recallable profiles.
Every AOC and AGON unit ships new, in the manufacturer's own sealed packaging, exactly as it left the factory line.
AOC's OLED and QD-OLED monitors carry a three-year warranty that includes burn-in, conditional on following the OLED Care routine built into the menu. Cover on each model is stated on its product listing.
Insured courier delivery nationwide, typically 1 to 3 business days to Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Pretoria and 3 to 5 regionally. Collection is available from the Centurion warehouse in Limeroc Business Park.
The range spans entry Full HD panels through to AGON PRO QD-OLED, so the decision is which tier suits your machine. Current rand pricing sits on each listing.
Breadth is the argument for AOC. Very few brands cover a student's first Full HD panel and a 500Hz QD-OLED with the same warranty structure and the same on-screen menu behind both.

Work out the resolution and refresh rate your machine can hold, then find the AOC tier that meets it. The range goes further up than most desks need.
