Finally there is a massive competitor in the streaming and gaming market, the HyperX QuadCast microphone and it's certainly making a splash. HyperX needs no introduction when it comes to build quality, performance quality or visual aesthetic. The millions of people that have invested in these products can attest to the famous HyperX quality.The QuadCast features a built-in shock mount that will reduce the amount of vibration and little knocks that might occur accidentally on your desk or against your microphone. The microphone offers four polar patterns namely - stereo, omnidirectional, cardioid and bidirectional and has a built-in pop filter to reduce the noise when speaking into the microphone.What makes the QuadCast stand out from the crowd is the incredible red LED lighting that lights up behind the mesh of the mic, but it is not purely designed to give you excellent aesthetic appeal but is designed to notify you when the mic is on. The light will go off when the microphone is muted, giving you a visual representation of the microphone is either on mute or not. In order to mute the microphone you simply tap the top of the mic and it will both mute and unmute. At the bottom of the mic you will find a dial that will allow you to adjust the different levels of gain.
