  Overall Good Impression

Pros: Extremely fast, incredible display, solid build quality and strong gaming performance. Best part is that it is so thin and still eats anything thrown at it. RGB keyboard is just so unnecessary but so damn cool to have. THE BATTERY LIFE IS REALLY GOOD, BY FAR THE BEST PART FOR ME AS A STUDENT.
Cons: The trackpad drivers are really poor, would recommend Windows Precision drivers (not official though, Gigabyte please release official drivers). Speakers are quite soft but not a massive issue.
Other Thoughts: Highly recommend.

  Review

Pros: Very happy with the laptop as it is able to handle modern games considering the 1060 graphics card.
Cons: The camera is a nose camera, very poor placement, but otherwise not so bad.
Other Thoughts: The RGB keyboard is a nice to have too :)

  Excellent Laptop

Pros: The screen is absolutely stunning. I love the high refresh rate. Coming from a desktop PC with a 160GB SSD, the 512GB SSD and freedom to travel and still work/game is terrific. The games that come with the package are also pretty cool. The laptop looks stunning.
Cons: I haven't used the laptop for long enough to be 100% certain, but so far I cannot think of any cons with the laptop.
Other Thoughts: It's still early days, but so far I love everything.

The screen is beautiful. It makes everything else look boring.
RGB keyboard is fun.
Cons: USB ports are tight.
A lot of the fancy features are only supported by Windows.
High res, small screen, Windows 10 upscales text and its blurry.
Other Thoughts: No regrets

  Gigabyte Aero 15w

Pros: 1. Battery Life - Insane for such a high spec machine.
2. Design - I use this for work (& play). Love the clean professional simplistic design.
3. Solid build - Feels solid, and high end.
4. Screen - Stunning screen and colour!
4. Future proofing - Easy to add or change RAM / SSDs etc.
5. Keyboard - Lovely keyboard. RGB really cool! even the non tech savvy people were like, wow! Haha
Cons: 1. E button not always working? not sure why.
2. Fan noise - you can use it as a hair dryer if fan is on full tilt.
3. Finger print magnet...
4. Price...
Other Thoughts: This is basically the only 15" High end laptop that has the full keyboard layout (numpad), which I need for work.

Overall, it is a lovely machine. Highly recommended if you have the budget for it. Maybe more suitable for the "older" gamers.

  Gigabyte Aero

Pros: Pros in my opinion would be 1060 for current triple A games, solid state drive after having one in my previous aorus 5x is a game changer in boot up time, work and gaming load times. The battery is an outstanding performer since my laptop dies immediately without being charged( no Intel graphics, so two sli 965 cards kill the laptop immediately). The I7-8750 is great for editors that handle large formats and 4k footage with its 6x core and 12 threads.
Cons: 144hz panel is sort of a gimmick especially for most montitors because its only for competitive play, to match the fps to the refresh rate would require overwatch to be on low and so forth with other games. Especially the latest ASUS ROG SWIFT that is 4k at 144hz, no current gen gpu can handle that at 4k ar 144hz. 2nd con would be it is an expensive laptop, and finally it has a middling touchpad. I would say the fan sound is fine, since i had gigabtye aorus 5x and that's was like a hair dyer.
Other Thoughts: All around great laptop coming from a 3 year old aorus 5x to this. In performance, battery life, and workloads

  Gigabyte Aero 15w

Pros: Why I think the the Gigabyte Aero 15W is my gaming/work power house? The biggest reason would be to help me further my career in gaming. More specifically League of legends as I am the captain for your national team "Donovan de Klerk" https://www.mycomlink.co.za/posting.php?i=47245, and currently i'm using an old lenovo pentium laptop with constant frame drops, im sure no one likes playing with 20-30 frames not that this stops me from being a leader at all but it would be a game changer finally being able to play the game and lead the team without having an inherent disadvantage.
Cons: The only cons i see to this is asking something as the captain might be looked at as abusing my seat.
Other Thoughts: Other thoughts would have to be i could post online that i've been sponsored by you guys "Evetech"

  Gigabyte Aero 15W***

Pros: This is pretty much your optimal gaming laptop. With the gtx 1060-6gb at desktop performance, plus the newest 8th gen, i7-8750H and 16 gb or ram, it can run all of the modern day games at atleast 1080p-medium settings-144 fps.
Also rgb is life
Cons: Due to its outstanding performance unoptimised games may cause the battery to drain and cpu to heat up but thats nothing a laptop cooler and charger cant fix.
Other Thoughts: Coming with a gaming mouse nd gigabyte backpack you are pretty much set to have a mobile gaming station

  Aero 15W GTX1060, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD

Pros: Professional and smart looking laptop, thin and light but very powerful.

Doesn't look like a gaming pc, so it is perfect to take to work.

Best high-end hybrid of a gaming and productivity laptop which is perfect for my requirements.

GTX 1060 is suitable for most games I play so 15X model is not entirely necessary for the large jump in price.

battery life is remarkably good if you customize the settings a bit without playing games. I get about 8 hours of normal usage.
Cons: Fan noise can be heard even at lower speeds but it is a trade off for how thin the laptop is, so it can be overlooked.

It's a bit pricey but if you consider how they fit such high end components into such a thin laptop then the price is understandable.

keyboard takes getting used to. You have to fully press a key to register whereas other keyboards can register lighter touches.
Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a gaming laptop disguised in a thin productivity laptop with top shelf specifications then this is the laptop for you. It was what i was looking for and I am happy with what I chose.

laptops such as MSI GS65, ASUS Zenbook and Razor which compete in the same category do not offer 1TB SSD and 32GB ram at a lower price than the 15W. The MSI GS65 is a good alternative if this is not quite what you are looking for.

  Everything a Laptop Should have!

Pros: 1) Design and build quality- The laptop looks and feels amazing, the laptop is made up of aluminium, some plastic and a touch of carbon fiber which allows the laptop to be relatively light compared other laptops packing the same specs.

2) The performance is fantastic- The new generation of 6 core processors allows for seamless video editing. And the gtx 1060 make for a nice gaming experience. However if you want even better gaming performance I suggest looking at the Aero 15x which comes with a gtx 1070.

3) The "bezel-less" display looks great and the 144hz make's this the prefect gaming screen. Along with x-rite pantone the colours look great.

4) The battery is fantastic for people on the move. You will easily get up to 8 hours of working and video playback.

5) The Keyboard feels great and typing is very comfortable. Gigabyte have also included a full numpad.
Cons: 1) The fans do get a bit loud when under medium-high load.

2) Laptop only comes with single channel memory, which however can be upgraded every easily.

3) There is a lot of pre-installed software on the laptop and i recommend doing a fresh install of windows.

4) The web cam is at an awkward angle and might be the best choice if you use the web cam on a daily basis.
Other Thoughts: Overall this a perfect laptop which brings professionalism and gaming together. The laptop is great for everyday use, and will be able to tackle any task that you throw at it.
