We are seeking a detail-oriented, organised, and proactive Accounts Assistant to provide direct support to our CFO in a fast-paced retail e-Commerce environment. This role is ideal for someone with accounting experience who thrives on accuracy, efficiency, and working closely with management to ensure smooth financial operations. You will assist with day-to-day accounting, reporting, reconciliations, and other financial tasks essential to the company’s growth.

All candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric.

• Diploma or Certificate in Accounting / Finance is an advantage.

• 2 – 3 years accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in retail or e-Commerce.

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Experience with accounting software.

• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.

• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

• Professional communication skills and ability to liaise with different departments.

• Ability to work independently while supporting the CFO efficiently.

• High level of integrity and discretion with sensitive financial information.


• Support the CFO with daily accounting and administrative duties.

• Process and capture invoices (non-stock), receipts, payments, and credit notes.

• Perform creditor and debtor reconciliations.

• Assist with bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.

• Support month-end and year-end reporting processes, including preparation of schedules and financial summaries.

• Maintain accurate filing systems (both digital and physical) for accounting and financial documentation.

• Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments regarding invoices and payments.

• Assist with audits, compliance tasks, and internal controls.

• Handle confidential financial information with discretion.

• Provide ad-hoc support to the CFO and finance team as required.
