Engineered memory.Thirty-eight years of it.

Designing memory and storage out of Taipei since 1988 - PCIe Gen5 drives that read at up to 14,000 MB/s, DRAM modules carrying a lifetime warranty, UHS-II cards rated for professional video, and JetFlash sticks that have been in the market for two decades. Stocked at Evetech with warranty handled in South Africa.

Built differently for a reason.

Designed and validated in Taipei

Product design and validation happen in-house at the Taipei headquarters, so the drive you buy in the second year of a model's life matches the one reviewed in the first.

Certified quality systems

ISO 9001 covers quality management, ISO 14001 environmental management and QC 080000 hazardous-substance control. Transcend was the first Taiwanese memory maker to hold all three.

Lifetime where it counts

Every DRAM module carries a lifetime warranty, and most JetFlash drives do too - a handful, such as the JetFlash 790, run on a five-year term instead. Internal SSDs are covered for five years.

SSD Scope included

The free SSD Scope utility reports drive health, temperature, remaining life and S.M.A.R.T. data, and handles firmware updates and secure erase without a third-party tool.

Every format of memory.

Internal NVMe SSDs

The MTE line spans PCIe Gen3, Gen4 and Gen5 in the M.2 2280 format. The Gen5 flagship MTE260S reads at up to 14,000 MB/s and writes at up to 11,000 MB/s in capacities to 2TB; the Gen4 MTE250S ships with a graphene heatsink thin enough to clear a laptop chassis.

Internal SATA SSDs

The 240S and 220S 2.5-inch drives cap out near 550 MB/s, which is the SATA III ceiling rather than a limit of the drive. They exist to revive machines with no M.2 slot, and remain the least expensive route to retiring a mechanical boot disk.

Portable SSDs

Two different briefs. The ESD410C is the rugged USB-C drive, IPX5 water-resistant and rated to 2,000 MB/s over a 20 Gbps link. The ESD420 weighs 48 grams, clips to a MagSafe-compatible phone and records ProRes straight off it, in capacities to 4TB.

SD & microSD Cards

Speed class is the number to read, not the headline megabytes. The UHS-II 700S is a V90 card at 285 MB/s read and 180 MB/s write, with 90 MB/s guaranteed as a minimum sustained write. The High Endurance 350V line is built instead for cameras that record on a loop, day after day.

JetFlash USB Drives

Twenty years of USB sticks, from metal keychain models through to USB-C drives that keep pace with a modern port. It is the range most people meet the brand through, and the bulk of it is covered for life.

JetRam DRAM

DDR4 and DDR5 modules built to JEDEC timings rather than an overclocking profile, which is what a workstation wants when it has to post the same way every morning. The lifetime warranty applies across the module range.

Memory with a job to do.

For content creators

A Gen5 M.2 drive keeps 8K source files scrubbing without proxies. Pair it with an ESD420 and a finished cut walks between edit bays over a 20 Gbps link instead of crawling across a network share.

For photographers

UHS-II V90 cards clear the camera buffer fast enough that burst shooting does not stall. The figure that matters is the guaranteed minimum sustained write of 90 MB/s, not the peak read printed on the front of the card.

For gamers

A Gen4 NVMe drive is the sensible target for a gaming build: DirectStorage benefits from the interface and load times flatten well before Gen5 speeds arrive. Put the difference into capacity, because installs keep growing.

For PC builders

Modules running at JEDEC-standard speeds and voltages let a board post on the first attempt with no XMP or EXPO profile to negotiate. The lifetime cover is why they end up in machines nobody wants to open again.

For field & travel

The ESD410C is specified against dust, knocks and an IPX5 rating's worth of water, which is a very different design brief from a drive that never leaves a desk. It draws power from the port, so there is no adapter to lose.

For drivers

DrivePro dashcams pair with High Endurance 350V cards for a specific reason: loop recording overwrites the same cells continuously, and a standard consumer card is not specified for that duty cycle.
