Filament and resin are different hobbies. Filament printers build with melted plastic, are cleaner to live with and suit functional parts. Resin printers cure liquid in layers, give far finer detail for models and miniatures, and require gloves, ventilation and careful disposal.
Print volume is the ceiling on what you can make in one piece. Larger beds cost more and take longer to heat, and most beginners find a moderate volume covers nearly everything they attempt.
