Memory and Storage, Built by the Same Hand
Bandwidth for
Everything You Build
Gen5 drives that read past 14,000 MB/s, DDR5 kits that keep a modern processor fed, and portable drives made to survive being carried. ADATA and XPG cover both ends of a build from the same factory.

Work Out Which Shelf Is Yours
MainstreamSteady and Sensible
The plain ADATA badge covers office refreshes, family machines and anything where predictable behaviour beats a headline figure. Nothing flashes, the packaging is unremarkable, and the drives keep working.
GamingTuned for Headroom
XPG is where the higher-binned memory, the tighter timings and the serious cooling designs live. If a part is meant to be pushed past its default profile, it wears this badge.
What You Actually Get for the Money
Three things separate this range from the anonymous drives that sit next to it on a price list: the interface it genuinely reaches, the way the enclosure survives being handled, and the fact that cooling was designed in rather than bolted on.
Interface Speed It Really Reaches
The Legend 970 Pro runs PCIe 5.0 x4 to the NVMe 2.0 standard, reading at up to 14,000 MB/s and writing at up to 11,000 MB/s. On the memory side, XPG Lancer covers the 6000 to 6400 MT/s band that mainstream platforms actually train at, with clocked CUDIMM modules going considerably higher on Intel 800-series boards.
Made to Survive the Trip
The SD810 external drive carries an IP68 dust and water rating and is drop-tested against the MIL-STD-810G transit standard, which is the difference between a bag falling off a bakkie and a lost shoot. Internal flagship drives ship with a five-year warranty term.
Design That Earns Its Trim
Red Dot, iF Design, Taiwan Excellence and CES Innovation awards have gone to this range across successive years, and on the Gen5 drives that shows up as thermal engineering rather than styling: a finned block with a built-in micro fan on the Legend 970 Pro, and a hybrid liquid and fan arrangement on the XPG Mars 980 Storm.
Match the Part to the Work
The same catalogue answers four fairly different questions. Find the one that sounds like your machine and start there rather than at the top of the price list.
Gaming Rig
A Gen5 drive keeps texture streaming ahead of the engine so the stutter when you turn a corner disappears, and a 6000 MT/s kit at tight timings is what a current processor wants rather than the highest number on the shelf. Frame rate comes from the graphics card; smoothness comes from nothing stalling.
Content Creator
Used as a scratch disk, a Gen5 drive holds a high enough read rate that an 8K timeline plays without generating proxy files first. Pair it with a 64GB kit and a grade, a render queue and a browser full of references can all sit in memory at once.
Business & Office
Replacing a mechanical disk with an SU650 SATA drive is the cheapest thing you can do to a machine that boots slowly, and it needs no M.2 slot to fit. Add memory at the same time and the constant disk churn from paging stops as well.
On-the-Go Portable
The SD810 is pocket-sized, sealed against dust and water, and reads at up to 2,000 MB/s over USB-C where the host port allows it. The SE920 uses USB4 for more on machines that support it, and the SC735 covers the everyday capacity end.
Stocked, Priced and Supported Locally
Evetech has been building South African systems since 2007 and fits these drives and kits into them daily. Buying here means the part is in a warehouse in Gauteng rather than in transit from abroad, and that a question gets answered before the order rather than after.
Stock You Can Check Before Ordering
Availability is shown on the listing, so you know whether a drive is picked today or still on its way. Prices are set in Rand with nothing added at checkout, and the product page states the capacity, the interface and the warranty term you are actually buying rather than leaving you to infer it from a model number.
Compatibility Sorted Before Checkout
Our build team fits this hardware into custom systems every day, which means the awkward questions have already been answered: which M.2 slot on your board runs at full speed, whether your platform will train a given DDR5 kit at its rated profile, and where a second drive physically goes once a large graphics card is in.
Nationwide Delivery
Tracked courier delivery countrywide. Delivery after dispatch: 1-3 business days to main centres, 3-5 business days to regional and outlying areas. Collection of paid orders at the Centurion warehouse is by prior arrangement only.
Manufacturer Warranty
Every unit is sold sealed and covered by the manufacturer's term, with the return logged and assessed here rather than sent abroad while you wait.
Dedicated Support
Phone, WhatsApp, email and live chat, staffed by the people who assemble the systems. Ask before you buy rather than after it arrives.
