Is the RTX 5060 Ti good for 1080p and 1440p gaming?

Yes. The RTX 5060 Ti is built for high-refresh 1080p and smooth 1440p gaming. In most current titles it holds high frame rates at 1080p and stays comfortable at 1440p with settings tuned and DLSS 4 enabled. It is not aimed at 4K gaming.

What is the difference between the 8GB and 16GB RTX 5060 Ti?

The two versions share the same Blackwell GPU but differ in memory. The 8GB model is enough for 1080p and most 1440p gaming. The 16GB model adds headroom for texture-heavy 1440p games, game streaming, video editing, and local AI work that benefits from more VRAM.

What memory and architecture does the RTX 5060 Ti use?

It is based on NVIDIA's Blackwell architecture and uses fast GDDR7 memory, available in 8GB or 16GB configurations. This is a generational step up from the previous 60-class cards in both efficiency and features such as DLSS 4.

Does the RTX 5060 Ti support DLSS 4?

Yes. The RTX 5060 Ti supports DLSS 4, including Multi Frame Generation in supported games. DLSS 4 uses AI to boost frame rates while keeping image quality high, which helps most at 1440p and in ray-traced titles.

What power supply do I need for the RTX 5060 Ti?

The RTX 5060 Ti is power-efficient and does not need a large power supply. A good-quality unit with some wattage headroom is recommended. Check the connector your chosen board partner model uses and confirm your PSU supplies it before installing.

Will the RTX 5060 Ti fit my PC case?

Most builds have room, but card length and thickness vary by brand. Dual-fan models are shorter and suit compact cases, while triple-fan models are longer and run cooler and quieter. Measure your available clearance against the card's listed dimensions before buying.

Is the RTX 5060 Ti available in South Africa at Evetech?

Yes. Evetech stocks RTX 5060 Ti cards from leading board partners in both 8GB and 16GB versions, with local warranties and nationwide delivery. You can also have one fitted in an Evetech custom gaming PC built to your resolution and budget.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Graphics Cards

Blackwell GPUs built for 1080p and 1440p gaming

The GeForce RTX 5060 Ti targets high-refresh 1080p and smooth 1440p gaming, with DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation boosting frame rates and 4th-gen Ray Tracing Cores improving lighting and reflections. Available with 8GB or 16GB GDDR7, the 16GB model offers extra headroom for demanding games, streaming, video editing and AI workloads.

How to Choose an RTX 5060 Ti Graphics Card

The RTX 5060 Ti is one of the easiest current-generation upgrades to size up: decide on your resolution and how much VRAM you need, then match the card model and cooler to your case. For 1080p and entry 1440p gaming the 8GB version is enough for most titles, while the 16GB version gives you headroom for high-texture games at 1440p, streaming, and creative or AI workloads.

The RTX 5060 Ti ships in two memory sizes. 8GB of GDDR7 is fine for 1080p and most 1440p gaming. Choose the 16GB model if you play texture-heavy titles at 1440p, stream while gaming, edit video, or run local AI tasks that lean on memory capacity.

This is a 1080p and 1440p card, not a 4K one. At 1080p it drives high-refresh monitors comfortably in most games; at 1440p it holds smooth frame rates with settings tuned and DLSS enabled. If you game on a 4K panel, look at a higher-tier card instead.

The RTX 5060 Ti supports DLSS 4, including Multi Frame Generation in supported titles, which lifts frame rates while keeping image quality high. Its Blackwell RT cores make ray tracing usable in this class, so you can turn on lighting and reflection effects without dropping to unplayable frame rates.

Board partners such as ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, and Zotac offer dual- and triple-fan designs at different lengths and thicknesses. Measure your case clearance first. Compact dual-fan cards suit small builds; larger triple-fan models run cooler and quieter but need more room.

The RTX 5060 Ti is efficient and does not demand a huge power supply, but check the connector your chosen model uses and confirm your PSU has it. A quality unit with some wattage headroom keeps the system stable and leaves room for future upgrades.

Beyond the chip itself, the board partner design matters. Dual- and triple-fan coolers, clock speeds, power connectors, and physical length differ between brands, so check that the card fits your case and that your power supply has the right connectors before you buy.
