ASUS PC Cases — TUF & ROG Airflow Chassis (17)
How to Choose an ASUS Case
A good case is about fit and airflow before looks. Decide the form factor your motherboard needs, check your GPU and cooler will fit, then choose between TUF Gaming value and ROG premium based on your budget and the look you want. The guide below covers the decisions that matter.
ASUS TUF Gaming cases focus on practical build quality and airflow at a sensible price, ideal for most gaming builds. ROG (Republic of Gamers) cases sit at the premium end with higher-end materials, larger interiors and more showcase features. Choose TUF for value and ROG when you want a flagship enclosure.
Cases are built around motherboard form factors — mini-ITX for small builds, micro-ATX for compact rigs, and ATX (mid-tower) for most gaming PCs. A mid-tower ATX case is the easiest to build in and leaves the most room for cooling and upgrades. Buy the case to fit your board.
Modern graphics cards are long and air coolers are tall, so check the case's maximum GPU length and cooler height against your parts. If you plan an AIO liquid cooler, confirm the supported radiator size in the front or top. Verifying clearance first avoids a part that won't fit.
A mesh or vented front pulls in far more cool air than a solid glass front, which matters for a hot GPU and CPU. Many ASUS cases use airflow-focused front panels for this reason. If you run demanding hardware, favour airflow up front and keep glass on the side panel, with a couple of intake fans and one exhaust.
ASUS cases tie into Aura Sync, so if you also run an ASUS motherboard, GPU or peripherals you can synchronise lighting across the whole build from one app. Lighting is cosmetic and doesn't affect cooling, so choose your RGB level for looks. Check each case for included fans and addressable RGB support.
