This is the white version of the GameSir Nova 2 Lite, a tri-mode wireless gamepad for Switch, PC, Android and iOS. The shell measures 155 x 104 x 57 mm and the controller weighs 225 g, putting it in the same size class as a standard console pad rather than a compact travel unit.

GameSir Hall Effect sticks replace the resistive track found in a conventional joystick with a magnetic sensor. The moving part never touches the sensing part, so the component that normally degrades simply is not there. Stick feel and centre position stay the same across the working life of the pad.

The controller polls at 1000Hz, sending its state to the host once every millisecond. The practical effect is that the interval between your input and the game reading it shrinks to the point where the connection stops being the limiting factor and your reaction time becomes the only variable left.

Three connection modes are on offer. Bluetooth pairs quickly with a phone or a Switch, the bundled wireless dongle gives a dedicated low-latency link for a PC, and a cable covers the times you want zero doubt about the connection. The dongle ships in the box rather than being an extra purchase.

The D-pad is a mechanical circular design, which means each direction actuates a real switch and the circular face lets your thumb roll between directions without lifting. Fighting games and any title needing quarter-circle or half-circle motions benefit most, since every intermediate direction has to register cleanly.

Both triggers use Hall Effect sensing and are fitted with trigger stops. Engage the stop and the trigger travels a fraction of its usual distance before firing, turning it into something closer to a mouse click for shooters. Release the stop and the full analog range comes back for driving games.

Two asymmetric vibration motors sit in the grips. Because they are deliberately different from one another, the pair can produce a broader range of textures than matched motors, from a low rolling rumble to a sharp tap. Games use that contrast to separate a distant explosion from a hit you personally took.

Two macro back buttons sit beneath the grips. They can hold single remaps or full input sequences, so an action that would normally need several presses fires from one. Both sit under your middle fingers, which keeps your thumbs on the sticks while the macro plays out.

Customisation runs through two apps: GameSir Connect on PC and the GameSir app on mobile. Between them you can set button mapping, adjust profiles and tune how the controller behaves, and you can do it from whichever device is closest rather than having to sit at a computer for every change.

A 600mAh battery powers the controller. A charging station is not part of this package but can be added separately, and the Nova 2 Lite is compatible with the Super Nova's charging station for anyone who prefers dropping a controller on a dock over hunting for a cable.

The grips are laser textured for an anti-slip surface, cut into the plastic so the pattern does not wear away with palm contact. The ABXY buttons are membranes, giving a soft and notably quiet press, which suits playing in a shared space where a clicky controller carries further than you would like.
