Gizzu secure wedge Key Cable Lock 1.8M / Security Cable For Notebook/ 2 Individual User Keys / Reinforced cable / GCWKLMK / GCWKLMK

The Gizzu Secure Wedge Key Cable Lock fits the wedge lock slot on a laptop or notebook and anchors it with a reinforced 1.8-metre cable. Loop the cable around a desk or table leg and the device cannot be removed without the key once the lock is engaged. Two keys are supplied for backup and replacement, and the cut-resistant cable is what deters an opportunistic attempt.

The cable connection rotates and pivots, which simplifies installation because the cable can leave the lock at whatever angle the desk allows instead of fighting the slot. The cable itself is pull-resistant, adding a second layer against forced intrusion, and the lock body is built to withstand tampering and forceful attempts to remove it. The lock is also master key compatible.

Compatibility is with the Noble Wedge lock slot, the small dedicated security port found on machines such as Dell at 3.2mm x 4.5mm. Check that your notebook carries a wedge slot of that shape before fitting the lock. The rest of the feature list is short and practical: two user keys, a reinforced cut-resistant cable and a design meant to install without fuss, sold under the code GCWKLMK.

Two specifications define the fit: a cable length of 1.8 metres and a wedge lock slot lock type. That 1.8 metres gives enough reach to run from a laptop on a desk down to a desk or table leg, which is what makes the lock usable in schools, offices, cafes and remote workspaces rather than only at one permanent workstation.

The kit contains one Gizzu Noble Wedge Standard Security Lock and two user keys. Nothing else is needed to fit it: the lock seats in the notebook's wedge slot, the cable wraps a fixed anchor and the key turns. Keeping the second key somewhere separate from the first is worth doing, since a lost key on a physical lock has no software workaround.
