NVIDIA retired the Quadro name with the Ampere generation, so the correct name for this part is the RTX 6000 Ada Generation. It carries 48GB of GDDR6 with error correction across a 384-bit bus at 960 GB/s, together with 18,176 CUDA cores, 142 third-generation RT cores and 568 fourth-generation Tensor cores, on a 300W dual-slot board connected over PCIe 4.0 x16.

It is now the previous professional generation, since the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell sits above it with a larger frame buffer and a higher power envelope. That matters less than it first sounds when the work is bounded by memory capacity rather than by the newest precision formats, because 48GB still clears scenes and datasets that stall a 24GB card at half the board power.
