Is the white model any different to the black one?

No. Corsair publishes the same magnesium shell, 56g weight, MARKSMAN S sensor, 8,000Hz polling and 120 hour battery for both. The finish is the only difference.

What is the difference between the MG and the Ultralight?

The MG has a magnesium alloy shell and weighs 56g; the Ultralight is 36g. In exchange the MG adds Bluetooth, which the Ultralight does not have, and runs a much longer battery - 120 hours at 1kHz against 70. Both use the same MARKSMAN S 33K sensor and both do 8,000Hz.

Why magnesium instead of plastic?

It lets Corsair reach 56g with a solid shell rather than cutting honeycomb holes through it. That keeps the mouse sealed and rigid while still being light.

How long does the battery last?

Up to 120 hours on 2.4GHz at 1kHz polling, about 21 hours at the full 8,000Hz, and up to 170 hours over Bluetooth.

Does it have Bluetooth?

Yes. This model is tri-mode: 2.4GHz SLIPSTREAM, Bluetooth and USB-C wired. That is one of the main things separating it from the Ultralight, which has no Bluetooth at all.

Which grip does it suit?

Symmetrical, suited to finger and claw grips. It is 122.85mm long, slightly larger than the Ultralight.

What switches does it use?

Corsair does not publish the switch type or a click rating for the MG on its product page, so we are not carrying the Ultralight's figures across to it. We will add them when Corsair states them.
