Deepcool Z3 High Performance Thermal Paste / Grease Weight 1.5 g / Excellent Thermal Conductivity / High Compatibility for Most CPU Cooler / Pure Electrical Insulation / Z3

DeepCool makes a point of the density: it is chosen to suit the commonly polished base of a normal CPU cooler, at 73cps viscosity. That is what lets mounting pressure spread it into an even thin film instead of fighting it. A thin, complete layer beats a thick one every time - the paste is there to fill the microscopic gaps between two flat surfaces, not to sit between them as a layer in its own right.

DeepCool describes the Z3 as pure electrical insulation, with a dielectric constant above 5.1, so a smear that strays off the heat spreader is something you wipe away rather than something that kills a board. The retail pack holds the syringe and a grease spreader, and the 1.5g net weight (6.5g gross) covers several standard desktop applications. If you are doing a CPU and a graphics card in the same session, or several builds, the Z5 is the same compound in a 3g syringe.
