The EZVIZ C6 is a 4MP indoor WiFi camera with pan, tilt and zoom, so a single unit covers every corner of a room instead of one fixed angle. AI detection separates people from animals, sound detection picks up crying or shouting, and a waving gesture starts a video call. Dual-band Wi-Fi on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz keeps the link stable, while a starlight sensor holds full-colour imaging in low light.

The C6 is built as a 2K+ smart home camera for the rooms you actually want eyes on, working as a baby monitor and a pet monitor from the same mount. Motorised pan and tilt let you sweep a nursery or lounge from your phone, and the EZVIZ app keeps the live view and alerts in one place.

The camera captures detail at 2K+ resolution and keeps colour in extremely low light thanks to a starlight sensor, rather than dropping to grainy monochrome as soon as the lights go off. It also limits overexposure, so a lamp or a window behind the subject does not wash out the frame.

When motion is detected the camera zooms in up to 4x and follows the moving object automatically, so you get a usable close-up instead of a distant figure in the corner of the frame. Enabling the AI features sharpens tracking on human movement specifically, which cuts down on chasing shadows.

AI pet detection sends a real-time notification whenever your pet is picked up in frame, so you know what is happening at home without leaving a stream open. The high-clarity capture means the playful moments are actually watchable afterwards rather than a blur of motion across the room.

The camera notifies you immediately when it registers unusual noise levels such as a crying baby or an alarm, which catches events that never enter the camera's field of view. You can also wave at the lens to start a quick video call straight to your mobile device, with no menu to navigate first.

Two-way communication runs through dual microphones with noise cancellation, human voice enhancement and a 10-metre microphone pickup range. Voices carry from across a room rather than only directly under the camera, so you can talk to a child, a pet sitter or whoever is in the house without shouting at the lens.

The camera connects either wired or wirelessly and supports both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi bands. The 5 GHz band carries the higher-resolution stream cleanly at close range, while 2.4 GHz reaches further through walls, which keeps surveillance uninterrupted wherever in the house you mount it.

Footage saves locally to microSD cards of up to 256GB, or to EZVIZ CloudPlay for encrypted cloud storage. Local recording keeps clips on site and independent of your internet connection, while cloud storage survives the camera itself being removed. Both keep recordings accessible whenever you need them.

A physical privacy shutter covers the lens when you want the camera blind, which is the only certain way to know no image is being captured. Behind that, video and data are protected by AES 128-bit encryption, the TLS encryption protocol and multi-step authentication, so access to the stream stays with you.
