GameSir X4 Aileron Mobile Gaming Controller - Android / Official Xbox Licensed for Cloud Gaming / Low-Latency Bluetooth Wireless / Hall Effect Anti-Drift Sticks / E-Sports Micro Switch Buttons / Analog & Hair Trigger Modes / Pocket-Sized Detachable Design / 400mAh Per Grip

The GameSir X4 Aileron is an officially Xbox licensed controller built for Android phones. It measures 120 x 104.6 x 42.7 mm and weighs 190 g, which puts it closer to a pocketable accessory than a full-size pad. The Xbox licensing means the button prompts and layout match what Android games already expect.

The X4 Aileron connects over low-latency Bluetooth, so nothing plugs into the phone and the charging port stays clear. It also means the phone does not have to be clamped between the halves at all if you would rather stand it up and hold the controller in a more natural position.

The thumbsticks use Hall Effect sensing, reading position magnetically instead of through a wiper on a resistive track. Because nothing rubs, the sticks do not develop the phantom input that ends a conventional controller's usable life, and analog accuracy holds through the long sessions where drift usually shows itself.

ABXY runs on microswitches rather than rubber membranes, giving a short travel and a definite click on every press. That tactile break point is what lets you time a combination or a rapid sequence accurately, because you can feel exactly when the input registered instead of guessing at it.

Two trigger modes are available. Analog mode reports the full range of the pull, which racing and flight games need, while hair trigger mode cuts the travel down so the input fires almost as soon as your finger moves. Swapping between them adapts the same controller to two very different genres.

Two back buttons sit behind the grips and both accept mapping, so frequently used actions move to where your middle fingers already rest. The controller also supports Xbox and Switch button layouts, which matters when a game labels its prompts for one convention and your muscle memory follows the other.

The clamp is sized by width rather than length, taking phones from 68 to 95 mm across and up to 12.5 mm thick. Checking width and thickness rather than screen size is the reliable way to know whether your handset fits, particularly if you keep it in a case that adds a millimetre or two.

A 400mAh battery sits in each controller, and pass-through charging lets a charger feed the phone while you are still playing. The GameSir App covers remapping and turbo settings, so the button assignments and repeat-fire behaviour are set in software rather than through button combinations.
