Turtle Beach Atom Mobile Game Controller with Bluetooth for Cloud Gaming on Android Mobile Devices with Compact Shape, Console Style Controls, Low Latency Bluetooth - Red / TBS-0766-05 / TBS-0766-05

This video shows the Turtle Beach Atom in red, a compact Bluetooth controller made for cloud gaming on Android devices. It demonstrates how the two halves sit either side of a phone, the console-style layout under the thumbs, and the low latency Bluetooth link that keeps the gap between a button press and an on-screen response small.

The Atom transforms into a compact form that fits in a pocket, and a carrying bag is included for transport. Ergonomic handles and console-like controls mean the shape still fills your hands properly while you play, so portability is not paid for with a cramped grip. It packs down between sessions rather than staying assembled.

The Atom pairs to an Android device over Bluetooth, and its two independent modules are joined to each other by a proprietary 2.4 GHz wireless connection. That second link is what keeps latency down between the two halves, so inputs from the left and right sides stay in step during fast play rather than drifting apart.

The control layout matches what Xbox players already know: full-size thumbsticks, a d-pad, bumpers, triggers and ABXY buttons, plus the Xbox guide, view and menu buttons. Cloud gaming titles expect that layout, so nothing has to be remapped before playing, and the full-size sticks give real travel instead of a shrunken mobile substitute.
