G-Floats Versus G-Skates: Ceramic Or PTFE
G-Skates use soft, 100% pure Virgin PTFE and are the industry standard for a smooth, controlled glide, but they wear down over time on certain surfaces. G-Floats swap that for a robust polished ceramic custom-fitted to each Glorious mouse model, delivering a swifter and more consistent glide with a notably longer lifespan and much better resistance to wear.

Built For Hard Mousepads And Fewer Replacements
If you run a hard mousepad and are tired of replacing skates, G-Floats target that exact problem. The polished ceramic keeps friction consistently low so the mouse feels like it is floating, and the material minimises wear well enough to hold top performance for years from the first use. Speed and control stay balanced rather than trading one for the other.

Your Mousepad Choice Changes The Result
The surface you pair the feet with has a real effect on how both G-Skates and G-Floats perform, and results vary by brand and surface material. G-Skates in soft Virgin PTFE stay smooth and controlled but wear on some surfaces, while the tough ceramic compound of the G-Floats holds a uniform glide and an extended lifespan across the same pads.
