Glorious Gaming Wooden Wrist Rest - Full Standard Size - Onyx/Black - Mechanical Keyboard, Wood Ergonomic Palm Rest| 17.5x4 inches/19mm Thick (GV-100-DARK) / GV-100-DARK

The Glorious Wooden Wrist Rest in Onyx measures 17.5x4 inches with a thickness of 19mm, sized for a full standard mechanical keyboard. Crafted from high-quality wood, it maintains your wrists in natural alignment while typing or gaming, which is what keeps discomfort out of an extended session. The dark finish sits quietly against black keyboards and desk mats rather than drawing attention.

Construction is fine White Ash with a medium to coarse grain, chosen for the support it gives under a gaming keyboard. Because the wood is real, each rest shows a distinct grain pattern of its own, so the piece on your desk enhances the setup rather than repeating a printed or moulded texture.

A specialized polish delivers a silky smooth surface, so your palms glide across the rest instead of dragging on it while you play. That finish is also resistant to erosion from sweat and oils, and it is the pairing of smoothness and resistance that gives a wooden rest its durability in daily use.

The luxurious wooden wrist rests come in two exquisite colour options, Onyx and Golden Oak. Both are sleek and versatile enough to complement almost any gaming setup, whether the rest of the desk runs dark and neutral or leans warmer, which makes the choice a styling decision rather than a functional one.

Non-slip rubber pads sit underneath the rest, ensuring stability on various surfaces and eliminating the small movements that pull your hands off position mid-game. The top stays slick for palm movement while the base stays planted, which is exactly the combination you want from a wrist rest during play.

At 19mm thick, the rest raises the wrists close to the height of the keycaps, holding the hands in a straight line from forearm to fingers. That alignment is where the comfort actually comes from, which is why thickness matters as much as surface finish when choosing a wrist rest for a mechanical keyboard.

Supporting the wrists through hours of typing or play improves comfort and helps mitigate the risk of strain injuries, which build up slowly rather than announcing themselves in a single session. For anyone at a desk daily, that is the argument for a proper wrist rest over resting the hands on a desk edge.
