GOVEE RGBICW Smart LED Strip Light 3m / Protective Epoxy Coating / Warm White + RGBIC Multi-Color Effects / Alexa & Google Assistant Compatible / App Control via WiFi + Bluetooth / Music Sync Modes / 24 LEDs per Meter / 12W / H612FCD1 / H612FCD1

The Govee H612FCD1 is a 3m RGBICW smart LED strip light running 24 LEDs per metre at 12W. RGBICW means it produces both warm white and independently addressable RGBIC multi-colour effects along the run, rather than one flat colour end to end. It is controlled from the Govee app over WiFi or Bluetooth, and works with Alexa and Google Assistant.

RGBIC control lets separate segments of the strip display different colours simultaneously, so gradients and chase effects run along the 3m length instead of the whole strip changing together. That is the difference between an RGBIC strip and a standard RGB one, and it is what makes multi-colour scenes possible on a single run.

Alongside the colour effects, the H612FCD1 carries a dedicated warm white channel, which is the W in RGBICW. That gives the strip a practical use as ambient room or under-cabinet lighting during the day, with the colour modes kept for when you want them.

The strip is finished with a protective epoxy coating across the LEDs. That layer shields the diodes and the strip surface from knocks and dust during installation and afterwards, which matters on a strip that gets pressed into corners and along edges.

Music sync modes drive the lighting from audio, so the RGBIC segments move with what is playing. Used behind a desk or a TV, it turns the 3m run into a reactive backdrop for music, films and games without any manual adjustment.

The H612FCD1 connects to the Govee app over both WiFi and Bluetooth. Bluetooth handles quick local changes when you are in the room, while the WiFi connection is what allows control and scheduling from outside it.

The strip is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, so lights can be switched, dimmed or set to a colour by voice. Once it is on the WiFi network it joins the rest of the smart home rather than needing the app open every time.

Total power draw for the H612FCD1 is 12W across the whole 3m strip. That is a low enough figure to leave the lighting running through an evening, and it is spread over the 24 LEDs per metre that make up the run.

At 24 LEDs per metre over a 3m length, the strip carries 72 diodes in total, which is what keeps the light even rather than showing individual hot spots. Three metres covers a desk edge, a TV surround or a shelf run in one continuous piece.
