The Promate BLIX-3M in black is a silent-click wireless mouse with triple-mode connectivity: two Bluetooth 5.1 channels and a 2.4GHz link, switching across up to three devices. An OLED status display sits on the body, RGB lighting runs underneath it, and a rechargeable 500mAh battery charges over USB-C.

The BLIX-3M uses silent-click switches, so the mouse works without the sharp clack that carries across an open-plan office, a lecture theatre or a bedroom where somebody is asleep. Silent switches still give a tactile response under the finger; what they remove is the sound, not the feel of the click.

Triple-mode connectivity means two separate Bluetooth 5.1 connections plus a 2.4GHz wireless link. Bluetooth covers tablets and port-limited laptops, while the 2.4GHz channel is the one to use on a desktop where latency matters. Three radios in one mouse remove the usual compatibility guesswork.

Multi-device switching handles up to three machines from the one mouse. A work laptop, a home desktop and a tablet can all stay paired, and moving between them is a switch rather than a re-pairing routine, which is the main reason multi-device mice exist for people running more than one computer.

Sensitivity is adjustable up to 1600 DPI, which is the range that suits office work, browsing and general productivity rather than competitive gaming. Being able to drop below the maximum matters for fine selection work, where a very high DPI setting makes precise cursor placement harder rather than easier.

An OLED status display is built into the BLIX-3M, so connection mode, DPI setting and status are readable on the mouse itself rather than guessed from a blinking LED. On a three-device mouse that screen is genuinely useful: it tells you which machine you are about to control before you move the cursor.

RGB lighting is built into the BLIX-3M, which is an unusual pairing with silent switches and makes sense for a desk that is styled but shared. The lighting gives the mouse presence in a lit setup at night without adding any of the noise that normally comes with a gaming-styled peripheral.

A rechargeable 500mAh cell powers the mouse, so there are no disposable batteries to buy or replace. A built-in pack also keeps the weight consistent as it discharges, unlike an AA-powered mouse, which shifts balance depending on which cells happen to be in it at the time.
