Promate Hook-2 High-Definition Dynamic Neckband Wireless Stereo Speaker / Up to 8 Hours of Playtime / IPX4 Water Resistance / Hook-2 / Hook-2

The Promate Hook-2 wireless neckband speaker runs dual 5W drivers that produce crystal-clear, high-definition stereo sound. Worn on the shoulders rather than in the ears, it puts a proper stereo image around your head while leaving you aware of what is happening around you, which is what separates a neckband speaker from a pair of earphones.

The neckband flexes so you can set it to your preferred fit, and it is crafted for all-day comfort and on-the-go use. A band that adjusts sits differently on a narrow neck than a broad one, and that is the difference between something you take off after an hour and something you forget you are wearing.

The Hook-2 design lets you listen to music and take calls ear-free and hands-free, without earphones and without holding your device. Nothing goes into the ear canal, so there is no pressure on long sessions and no need to pull a bud out every time somebody speaks to you.

IPX4 water resistance makes the Hook-2 suitable for outdoor use in rainy or sweaty conditions, so a walk that turns wet or a session in the gym is not a problem. It is protection against splashing rather than submersion, which covers most of what an active day actually throws at a wearable speaker.

The Hook-2 uses robust construction aimed at longevity and durability under daily use. A wearable speaker gets pulled on and off, dropped into bags and bent around the neck several times a day, so build quality decides whether it lasts a season or several years.

Battery life reaches up to 8 hours, which keeps music and calls running uninterrupted through a busy day. That is enough for a commute, a full shift and the trip home on a single charge, so the Hook-2 is not competing with your phone for a charger at lunchtime.

A built-in high-quality microphone gives clear voice clarity on calls and for voice commands, and the Hook-2 also supports TF cards so you can expand your music library and play tracks straight off the device. That means audio without a phone connected, which is useful when you want to leave the handset behind.
