Promate PassMate Passport Holder - Black / Premium Leather and Wear-Resistant Fiber / Works with Apple Find My / Built-In Speaker / RFID Protection / Wireless Rechargeable Battery / Bluetooth 5.2 / PassMate.Black / PassMate.Black

The Promate PassMate.Black is a black leather passport holder with an Apple Find My tracker, RFID shielding and a built-in speaker. The passport section measures 21.3 x 14.5 x 1.8cm and runs on a 170mAh rechargeable cell. It stores travel documents securely while remaining findable from your phone if it goes astray.

The holder is built from leather over a wear-resistant fibre layer. Travel is unusually hard on a document wallet, which gets pushed into seat pockets, handed across counters and packed against harder items in a bag, and the fibre backing is what stops the 1.8cm body from deforming around the passport it holds.

RFID protection built into the holder blocks unauthorised scanning of passport and card data. Modern passports and bank cards both broadcast when queried by a reader, and neither gives you any indication it has happened. Shielding the whole holder removes that exposure for everything inside it at once.

The PassMate pairs over Bluetooth 5.2 on an AP2T21F40 chipset using BLE profiles, with a 50-metre operating distance, and reports into Apple Find My. Fast, reliable pairing matters for a device you may not open for weeks between trips: it needs to be present the moment you look for it.

A 22mm speaker inside the holder sounds at 80dB or more when triggered. The map narrows the search to a room; the speaker finishes the job. That last stage is the harder one, because a passport holder is usually inside something else rather than sitting in plain view on a surface.

The 170mAh lithium-polymer battery recharges wirelessly at 2.5W across a 15 to 20mm gap on the 110 to 205kHz band, filling in 92 minutes. Standby runs to six months, so a charge before a trip lasts the whole journey and well beyond it, with no disposable cells to source in transit.
