Promate PassMate Passport Holder - Blue / Premium Leather and Wear-Resistant Fiber / Works with Apple Find My / Built-In Speaker / RFID Protection / Wireless Rechargeable Battery / Bluetooth 5.2 / PassMate.Blue / PassMate.Blue

The Promate PassMate.Blue combines a premium leather passport holder with a tracker that works on the Apple Find My network. Inside a 21.3 x 14.5 x 1.8cm body sit RFID shielding, a 22mm speaker and a 170mAh wirelessly rechargeable battery, connected over Bluetooth 5.2 with a 50-metre operating range.

An RFID-blocking layer is integrated into the holder, preventing a reader from communicating with the chip in a biometric passport or with contactless bank cards. Travel is exactly the context where this matters, since crowded queues and transit hubs put your documents within arm's reach of strangers for long stretches.

The PassMate integrates with Apple Find My, so a misplaced passport is located from the same app as your other Apple devices with nothing extra to install or maintain. There is no separate account, no proprietary app to keep updated, and no risk of the tracking service disappearing with a third-party product.

Connection is by Bluetooth 5.2 with BLE profiles on an AP2T21F40 chipset, reaching 50 metres. The low-energy profile is what allows a tracker this small to stay useful for months at a time, because the radio idles almost continuously and only draws real current when your phone actually asks it something.

The integrated speaker measures 22mm and sounds at 80dB or above. Once the map has put you in the right room, the audible alert is what finds the holder inside a bag, under a seat or beneath a pile of paperwork on a check-in counter, which is where documents actually go missing.

Premium blue leather is backed by wear-resistant fibre to survive frequent handling and bag packing. The 170mAh lithium-polymer cell recharges wirelessly at 2.5W across a 15 to 20mm gap on the 110 to 205kHz band, reaching full in 92 minutes and holding standby power for up to six months.
