Choosing a Wireless Board That Behaves Like a Wired One
Manufacturers build their own 2.4GHz protocols rather than using Bluetooth for gaming modes, because a dedicated link can hold a fixed report interval instead of negotiating one with the host. Those links are quoted at one to three milliseconds.
