MLX Plasma is the smooth linear option in the MLX range, with a 45g actuation force, a 2.0mm actuation point and 4.0mm of total travel. The stems are pre-lubricated on a single-rail structure to cut wobble, use Fresnel lensing to spread the RGB more evenly, and are rated for 80 million keypresses. The board also hot-swaps 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches.

AXON hyper-processing sends keypress data 8,000 times per second instead of the 1,000Hz a standard keyboard uses. That shortens the reporting interval from one millisecond to 0.125ms, so the gap between pressing a key and the game registering it is a fraction of what a conventional board adds.

The 96% layout closes the empty gaps between the main cluster, navigation block and numpad instead of dropping keys. You keep the number pad, arrow keys and function row while the board takes up roughly the desk width of a tenkeyless, leaving more space for wide, low-sensitivity mouse sweeps.

An integrated colour IPS display sits at the top right at 320 x 170 resolution. It runs custom animations and images, shows system readouts, and confirms what the rotary dial is currently adjusting, so volume and profile changes are visible on the keyboard rather than through an on-screen overlay.

FlashTap governs simultaneous opposing cardinal directions, the case where you press A while D is still held down. You choose how the board resolves the conflict so the newer key takes priority rather than the two cancelling, which is what movement techniques like counter-strafing and jiggle peeking depend on.

The six G-keys map directly into the Elgato Stream Deck app, and a dedicated launch key summons a Virtual Stream Deck on demand. Scene switches, audio triggers and macros run from the keyboard, which covers the usual streaming controls without a separate hardware deck occupying desk space.

The six dedicated macro keys run down the left flank in a low-profile shape, so they can be found by feel while sitting below the height of the main keys to reduce accidental presses during normal typing. Each is freely programmable, and Game Mode disables the Windows key and drops lighting to a single colour.

A plate layer, sound optimisation shim, socket foam and case foam sit inside the aluminium body to absorb internal resonance and hollow keypress echo. The result is a lower, denser sound profile, which also helps on a streaming setup where an open microphone would otherwise pick up the keyboard.

CORSAIR Web Hub handles macros, key remapping and per-key RGB from the browser with nothing to install on the machine. Settings save to the board itself, so lighting and bindings follow the keyboard to another PC, and full N-key rollover with anti-ghosting stays active whichever profile is loaded.

The frame is sculpted aluminium rather than plastic, which keeps the board planted during fast movement and holds the compact shape rigid. A detachable palm rest attaches magnetically, with a memory foam cushion under a leatherette cover, and media and volume are handled through function shortcuts and the dial.
