Is this CUDY AP3000 worth the upgrade?

Yes, it is a strong upgrade if you need modern Wi-Fi for multiple users. It supports Wi-Fi 6 dual-band 4-stream performance and is rated for up to 150 devices. The 2.5GbE shielded PoE port is designed for faster uplinks in busy networks. It also supports wall or ceiling mounting to keep deployment flexible.

How fast is the CUDY AP3000 Wi-Fi?

The AX3000 performance is listed as 2402Mbps on one band plus 574Mbps on the other band. This dual-band setup helps balance traffic across bands. It is intended for smooth streaming and reliable day-to-day connectivity. Actual performance can vary based on your environment.

How many devices can this access point support?

The CUDY AP3000 is specified to support up to 150 devices. This makes it suitable for busier locations where many clients connect at once. If your space has heavy device usage, this higher capacity target can help reduce bottlenecks. For best results, plan placement to cover your area.

Does it include a 2.5GbE PoE port?

Yes, it includes a 2.5GbE shielded PoE port. This helps provide a faster wired uplink connection for the access point. The port is designed to work with PoE power options for easier deployment. Shielded design can also help reduce interference in demanding installs.

What power methods does the AP3000 support?

The AP3000 supports PoE 802.3at, passive PoE, and DC power. That means you can choose the power approach that matches your existing network gear. It is designed to support common PoE deployments plus DC power setups. Always match your power source to the required option for safe operation.

Can I mount it on a wall or ceiling?

Yes, this model supports wall and ceiling mounting. That lets you place it where coverage is best and keep cabling neat. It is designed as a ceiling access point for clean, fixed installations. Choose the mounting location that minimizes obstructions to your users.

What CPU and memory does the AP3000 have?

The AP3000 uses a 1.3GHz dual-core CPU with 512MB RAM. This provides processing capacity for managing connected clients and network traffic. The specifications indicate it is built for multi-device environments. Performance can still vary with placement and network conditions.
