The Enova EHJ-008A is the grey aluminium-framed model in the EHJ range, using a grey nylon frame reinforced with an aluminium frame over a polished aluminium base. It meets the BIFMA product standard, carries a 136kg seat load capacity and includes a folding footrest. Grey keeps it usable as a work chair as well as a gaming one.

The backrest structure is grey nylon combined with an aluminium frame. Metal in the back holds its geometry through repeated recline and heavy leaning, where a purely moulded plastic frame gradually loses shape, and it is the main structural difference between this model and the nylon-only chairs in the same family.

A Donati multi-functional mechanism with eight tension settings sits under the seat. Eight steps mean recline resistance can be matched closely to your body weight instead of picked from two or three coarse options, so the backrest moves with you when you lean rather than pushing back or falling away.

The 4D lumbar support moves up, down, in and out, letting you place the pad exactly where your lower back curves and set how firmly it makes contact. Fixed lumbar panels only suit one build; four-way adjustment is what lets the same chair work for different people at the same desk.

The specification lists 360-degree dual-axis 6D PU armrests. Six directions of movement cover height, forward and back, in and out, and the pads rotate a full turn on top of that, so they can be lined up for keyboard and mouse, brought in for a controller, or turned aside to stand up.

A seat slider in the mechanism moves the seat pan forward and back, changing how much of the thigh is carried by the cushion. Taller users extend it so their legs are supported to the knee, shorter users retract it so the front edge is not pressing into the back of the leg.

The included footrest folds out from under the seat and is padded with PU foam rather than being a bare panel. It gives you somewhere to put your legs up between sessions, then folds back flat so the chair still tucks under a desk and does not take extra floor space in a small room.

Height adjustment uses a Korean KGS class 4 gas lift in the 80/65 size, finished in black. It moves the seat through its range from a lever under the pan, and setting it correctly, with forearms level at the desk and feet flat on the floor, is what makes every other adjustment work.

The EHJ-008A stands on a polished aluminium base that contrasts against the grey frame above it. Aluminium keeps its shape under years of daily load where moulded plastic slowly flexes, and it gives the chair a solid, planted feel when you swivel or push off an armrest to stand.

The chair rolls on 60mm casters with black PU wheels. PU is the softer of the common caster materials, keeping the chair quiet on laminate, tile and sealed concrete, and the 60mm diameter rolls over floor joins and flat cable covers without the chair snagging as you move between screens.

Headrest, backrest and seat all use the FF-YM90-17M-56-10 component in grey. Running the same material through every contact point keeps the firmness and texture even, and the single grey tone lets the chair sit in a home office or a lounge without announcing itself as gaming furniture.

The chair is built to the BIFMA product standard for office furniture and rated to a 136kg seat weight load capacity. That rating covers the assembly as a whole, the reinforced frame, aluminium base and class 4 gas lift together, which is what keeps a chair stable under daily full-time use.

The assembled chair weighs 26.35kg with a gross packed weight of 30.10kg. The aluminium frame and base account for most of the difference against the lighter nylon-framed models, so treat it as a two-person lift from the delivery point to wherever the chair is going to live.

The EHJ-008A arrives in a single carton measuring 820 by 510 by 690 millimetres. Measure a tight stair turn, a narrow passage or a small lift against that before the delivery date, since everything comes in one box rather than in several smaller cartons that could be carried up individually.
