Promate Springy 60W Self-Organizing Magnetic USB-C Cable - Blue / Durable nylon braided thick copper core /480Mbps Data sync and charge / Springy.Blue / Springy.Blue

The Springy carries magnets along its length so the cable folds and clings to itself instead of sprawling across a desk or knotting inside a bag. Wrap it once and it holds that shape, which is the difference between a cable you pack deliberately and one you untangle every time you need it.

Rated for 60W Power Delivery with a total current of 20V at 5A, the Springy charges USB-C phones, tablets and many laptops at their full negotiated speed rather than trickling. 60W is the level at which a cable stops being a phone accessory and starts being able to run a working notebook.

Data moves at up to 480Mbps, enough to shift photo libraries, music and video files between USB-C devices without swapping to a second cable. Being able to sync and charge on the same lead is what keeps one cable in the bag instead of two.

At 1.2m the cable reaches from a wall socket to a desk surface or from a power bank in a bag to a phone in your hand, without leaving metres of slack to manage. It is the length that suits both use cases, which is why it was chosen over a longer run.

A nylon braided jacket protects the cable from abrasion and the repeated bending that frays a moulded cable at the ends. Inside, a thick copper core carries the current with less resistance, which is what makes sustained 60W charging possible without the cable running warm.

Both connectors are USB-C and both are reversible, so there is no correct way up and no fumbling behind a monitor to find it. The blue finish makes the cable easy to identify in a bag full of black ones, which matters more than it sounds when several cables share a pocket.
