Promate TagChain Smart Carabiner Keychain - Black / Apple Find My Integration / 100mAH Built-In Rechargeable Battery / Integrated Speaker / Works with Siri / IP67 Waterproof / TagChain.Black / TagChain.Black

TagChain in black is a carabiner that doubles as an Apple Find My tracker, clipping to keys, a bag or a jacket so the things you lose most often are traceable. It connects over Bluetooth 5.2 BLE with an operating distance of 20 to 50 m, and the black finish keeps it looking like ordinary hardware rather than a device.

Pinging TagChain from your phone triggers a 15 mm speaker that sounds at 80 to 90 dB. Sound beats a map indoors, where a pin can only tell you the right room and not the right drawer, coat pocket or car footwell. The alert runs until you find it or stop it from the app.

An IP67 rating means TagChain is sealed against dust and survives temporary immersion, so rain on a commute, a splash at a campsite or a dropped keyring in a puddle are all non-events. That makes it viable on gear that stays outside, rather than something you have to remember to keep dry.

TagChain runs a 100 mAh lithium-polymer battery charged from a 5 V / 200 mA supply in about an hour, with roughly three months of standby between charges. Because it recharges, there are no coin cells to buy and no risk of the tracker quietly dying because a battery ran flat months ago.

Siri compatibility lets you ask for TagChain's location by voice, which is quicker than opening an app while carrying bags. It suits commuting, travel and outdoor use, clipping to a rucksack strap or belt loop, and its radio output stays at 20 dBm or below in the 2402 to 2480 MHz band.
