TP-LINK Tapo C320WS Outdoor Security Wi-Fi Camera / Ultra-High-Definition Video / Wired or Wireless Networking / Advanced Night Vision / Two-Way Audio / NET-TL-TAPO-C320WS

The TP-LINK Tapo C320WS is an outdoor security Wi-Fi camera that records ultra-high-definition video, giving clear and precise footage day or night. It connects either wired or wirelessly, so installation can follow the power and network you already have rather than the other way around. Advanced night vision covers the property around the clock, and two-way audio lets you speak to whoever is at the gate or warn off an intruder.

The Tapo C320WS keeps its footage in full colour after dark instead of switching to monochrome, which is what makes a clothing colour or a vehicle identifiable on a night recording. Its advanced night vision technology guarantees comprehensive surveillance around the clock, so the camera you rely on at 2am is producing the same usable detail it does at noon.

The C320WS provides both wired and wireless connectivity options, so it can sit on Wi-Fi where running cable is impractical or take a wired link where the signal at the far end of a property is weak. That flexibility decides where the camera can actually go, which matters more on a driveway or boundary wall than anywhere inside the house.

The Tapo C320WS records at a resolution of 2560x1440, and that QHD detail is what lets you read a plate or a face rather than guess at a shape. An 8x magnification capability further enhances visibility, so you can push into a section of the frame after the fact and still have something to look at.

Traditional cameras drop to monochrome footage once the light goes, but the Tapo C320WS pairs a high-resolution sensor with a fill light to capture vibrant colours in darkness. The result is enhanced clarity in the frames you actually need, since a night event described in colour is far easier to act on than a grey silhouette.

A high-sensitive starlight sensor sits behind the lens of the Tapo C320WS, capturing superior-quality images so no details are lost in low-light settings. This is the part that works in the gap between full daylight and full dark, such as dusk or a driveway lit only by a distant street lamp.

Motion detection on the Tapo C320WS is personalised rather than fixed, so the camera reports what matters on your property instead of alerting on everything that moves past it. Those detection events are also what the camera's automations run from, which is how a single trigger can raise an alert and start a response at the same time.

The Tapo C320WS carries a built-in high-decibel siren that you can activate to deter a threat on the spot. The same alarm can be automated to sync with motion detection events, so the camera answers an intrusion the moment it sees one instead of waiting for someone to open an app and press a button.

Two-way audio lets you talk through the Tapo C320WS to visitors and delivery personnel from wherever you are. It turns the camera from something you check back on afterwards into something you use in the moment, whether that means directing a courier to leave a parcel or making it plain that someone at the gate is being watched.

The Tapo C320WS carries an IP66 weatherproof rating and is engineered to withstand extreme weather conditions. A waterproof microphone, a waterproof loudspeaker and a waterproof sealing ring give complete protection against water damage, which is what keeps the audio features working through a season of rain rather than only in the first month.
