What's included in the upgrade kit?

Yes — the kit includes the AMD RYZEN 7 9700X CPU (OEM, no retail packaging), the ASRock X870 PRO RS WIFI motherboard, a KLEVV CRAS V 32GB DDR5 7200MHz memory kit, and the DeepCool LS520S Zero Dark liquid CPU cooler. This bundle provides core components needed for a high-performance build. Other items like a power supply, storage, case, and GPU are not included.

Is this worth the price for gaming?

Yes — the Ryzen 7 9700X combined with 32GB DDR5 7200 and a quality X870 motherboard delivers strong frame rates and smooth multitasking. The included liquid cooler helps sustain boost clocks under load. If you want fast single-core performance for gaming plus capability for streaming or editing, this kit is a solid value.

Will this work with Windows 11?

Yes — the ASRock X870 PRO RS WIFI motherboard and Ryzen 7 9700X support Windows 11. The platform supports modern firmware features and drivers required by current OS versions. Ensure you install the latest BIOS and chipset drivers from ASRock for best compatibility.

Can I install my own cooler instead of the included DeepCool LS520S?

Yes — you can use a different compatible cooler if preferred. The DeepCool LS520S is included for immediate thermal performance, but the socket and mounting follow standard AM5 compatibility. Confirm compatibility of any aftermarket cooler with the AM5 platform before purchasing.

Is the CPU boxed or OEM?

The CPU is OEM and ships without retail packaging. The processor is the AMD RYZEN 7 9700X and includes no retail box or extras. Buyers should plan for standard mounting and thermal paste handling as needed.

Who is this kit best suited for?

This kit is best for gamers, streamers, and content creators who want a high-performance upgrade path without sourcing parts separately. It suits builders prioritizing fast CPU boosts, high-speed DDR5 memory, and reliable cooling. Professionals needing heavy multitasking will also benefit from the 32GB RAM and strong CPU performance.

Does the motherboard include WiFi and expansion options?

Yes — the ASRock X870 PRO RS WIFI includes integrated WiFi and standard expansion slots for GPUs, storage, and other peripherals. It provides modern connectivity for networking and add-ons. For exact port counts and slot layout, consult ASRock's specifications.

How does this kit handle heat during long gaming sessions?

Yes — the DeepCool LS520S liquid cooler is included to maintain thermal performance during extended loads. The cooler provides improved heat dissipation compared with stock solutions, helping the CPU sustain higher boost clocks. Proper case airflow will further enhance cooling effectiveness.
