Playing at 2160p comes down to two purchases sitting beside each other. The screen sets the target, because a 60Hz panel and a 240Hz panel at the same resolution ask completely different things of a machine, and the graphics card decides whether that target is reached. Most of the rest of the specification changes less than buyers expect when stepping up from 1440p.

Which is why a ranked list of machines answers the wrong question. The useful order runs: pick the screen, size the card to the frame rate you want on it, then keep everything else out of the way.
