Is this CUDY GS1024 switch unmanaged?

Yes. The CUDY GS1024 is an unmanaged switch, designed for simple plug-and-connect use. That means you do not need advanced management features to get basic connectivity working. It is a practical choice when you want reliable wired links without extra configuration.

How many Ethernet ports does it include?

It includes 24× GbE ports. This gives you plenty of room to connect multiple wired devices in one location. Use it for office, studio, or general networking where you need more device connections.

Does it support VLAN mode?

Yes. The GS1024 supports VLAN and includes VLAN mode for helping organize network traffic. This can be useful when you want clearer separation between groups on your network. Use it to support more structured setups.

What is the maximum long-range distance?

The GS1024 supports long-range transmission up to 250m in extend mode. This is helpful when your devices are farther apart than standard wiring distances. It is designed to support extended Ethernet connections for challenging layouts.

Will it run quietly with no fan?

Yes. The switch features a fanless metal housing. That helps reduce moving parts and supports quiet operation. It is well suited for offices, classrooms, and other noise-sensitive spaces.

Can I mount it on a rack or desk?

Yes. It is designed for desktop or rack-mount installation. This gives you flexibility whether you are setting up a small network or integrating into a rack. Choose the mounting style that fits your space.

Is it suitable for home or small office?

Yes. With 24 gigabit ports, VLAN support, extend mode, and fanless operation, it fits many everyday networking needs. It is designed to simplify wired connections while still offering helpful features. It is a strong option for home office and small business setups that need flexibility.

DSCP/802.1p QoS

Identifies packets using DSCP headers and forwards those with higher priority before lower-priority traffic. This ensures prioritized handling for time-sensitive or important packets.

IGMP Snooping

Detects multicast groups connected to the switch and directs multicast traffic only to the relevant ports instead of broadcasting to all ports.
