The right dual monitor arm depends on your two monitors and your desk. Start with the VESA pattern on the back of each screen (75x75mm or 100x100mm are the common sizes) and check each monitor's weight against the arm's per-arm rating, not just its combined total. Then look at how the arm attaches to your desk, how it moves, and whether it routes cables cleanly. Brands such as Ergotron, North Bayou and Brateck each offer dual arms across different weight and size classes, so match the rating to your setup rather than the name.
For most 24 to 27-inch monitors a gas-spring dual arm with VESA 100x100 support and a C-clamp base covers the majority of desks. Heavier or larger ultrawide and curved screens need an arm rated for higher weight and longer reach, and often a grommet mount for extra stability.
