The current Core Ultra 9 (Arrow Lake, e.g. the 285K) moves to the LGA1851 socket with 800-series chipsets and DDR5 only, and runs noticeably cooler for the same class of performance. Match the CPU to your motherboard socket and memory before you buy, and plan for a capable cooler on any flagship chip.
