Security starts with FIPS 197 certified XTS-AES 256-bit encryption, supported by a Common Criteria EAL5+ certified secure microprocessor. An intuitive colour touch screen is built into the drive, so unlocking and configuring it happens on the device itself. No software has to be installed on the computer and no host permissions are needed, which means the drive behaves identically on a locked-down work PC and on a personal laptop.

Dual-password management splits access into Admin and User modes, giving a multi-password option for effective data recovery and administrative access control. When a User is locked out, the Admin credential reopens the drive, so recovery is a procedure someone owns rather than a dead end.

Password parameters are configurable on the drive: set the maximum number of attempts, define a minimum length between 6 and 64 characters, and require numeric or alphabetic characters. That means the same SSD can satisfy a casual personal setup or a formal policy that dictates exactly how long a password must be.

An adjustable auto-timeout locks the drive after inactivity so it is never left open on a desk. Touchscreen layout randomisation moves the keypad positions to defeat anyone watching your finger pattern, and Secure-Erase functionality permanently removes all data and encryption keys when the drive needs to be retired or reissued.

Integrated dual read-only protection lets you connect the SSD to an unfamiliar computer without letting that computer write to it. It guards against cybersecurity vulnerabilities on the host side, which is where most portable drive infections start, and keeps the stored contents exactly as you left them.
