Charging a laptop takes far more power than topping up a phone, so a laptop power bank has to do two things well: deliver enough USB-C Power Delivery (PD) wattage to satisfy your specific laptop, and hold enough capacity to be worth carrying. Start with your laptop's own charger rating (printed on the brick, e.g. 65W, 100W or 140W) and pick a power bank that matches or exceeds it — a 100W bank will happily charge a 65W laptop, but a 65W bank cannot run a 140W gaming laptop at full speed.
