A pink desktop is a sourcing exercise. Nothing about the colour changes how the machine performs, but it does narrow which parts you can choose from, because manufacturers make coloured versions of some categories and almost none of others. Knowing which is which before you start saves a lot of returns.

Pick the chassis first and treat its finish as the reference. Vendors do not agree on what pink means: one brand's sakura is pale and slightly grey, another's sits closer to bubblegum, a third leans coral. Once the case is settled, match fans, cooler and cable extensions to it, and let anything you cannot source in colour be white rather than black so it reads as intentional.
