Load-cell and hydraulic brakes measure force rather than travel, so what matters is how hard you can push before the plate deflects. Will it fit a very tall or a very short driver?

The stated range covers 120 to 220cm in height and 20 to 120kg in weight on the Challenge X and the Trophy. A sheet of board or a hard chair mat solves it for very little money. The Challenge DD F1 Edition rolls on castors, so it also wants a surface you are content to move a loaded frame across repeatedly.

What arrives in the box and how long does assembly take?

The frame comes flat-packed in sections with the fasteners grouped by step. A folding Challenge goes together in well under an hour with the supplied tools. Fixed cockpits take longer, because the seat, wheel deck and pedal plate each set the position of the next, so working in that order turns three passes into one.
