A premium piece is defined less by its licence than by how it was made. Larger scales, denser materials, hand-applied paint over a sculpt that was authored for one specific viewing angle, and a base that forms part of the composition rather than holding the figure upright. Articulation is deliberately absent, because a fixed pose lets the sculptor commit to a silhouette.

These are produced in finite runs. Many arrive with a numbered plate or a certificate identifying the piece within its edition, and once the run closes the manufacturer does not return to it. That is why the pre-order window, not the release date, is the moment that decides whether you own one.
