Promate Wireless Mouse, Ergonomic Silent Click Optical 2.4GHz Cordless Mice with Adjustable 2200DPI, 6 Programmable Buttons, USB Nano Receiver and 10m Working Distance for MacBook Air / SAMIT.BLACK

The Promate Samit Ergonomic Wireless Mouse connects over 2.4GHz and clicks silently, so it stays quiet in a shared office, a lecture hall or a room where someone is sleeping. The black shell is contoured to the hand rather than flat, and the optical sensor tracks on ordinary desks and mats. Everything runs through the USB nano receiver, so no cable crosses your desk.

The optical sensor is adjustable up to 2200 DPI, so pointer speed can drop for detailed work such as photo editing or spreadsheet cells, then rise for crossing a large display quickly. Adjustable sensitivity matters most on high-resolution screens, where one fixed setting either crawls across the desktop or overshoots small targets.

Six programmable buttons let you assign the actions you repeat most, from copy and paste to browser navigation or an application shortcut. Mapping them to the mouse keeps both hands where they already are instead of reaching for a keyboard combination, which is the practical reason multi-button mice shorten long editing and browsing sessions.

A USB nano receiver handles the wireless link and stays in the port, and the Samit works at a distance of up to 10 metres from it. That covers presenting from across a boardroom or driving a media machine from a couch. Promate lists the mouse for the MacBook Air, and the receiver is small enough to leave plugged in permanently.
