Which platforms do Thrustmaster racing wheels support?

Each Thrustmaster wheel base targets a specific platform family plus PC. The T300 RS GT and T598 are built for PlayStation (PS4/PS5) and PC; the TX is for Xbox and PC; and the T128 and T248 ship in separate PlayStation and Xbox versions. Check the exact model before buying so it matches your console.

What is the difference between hybrid, belt and direct-drive Thrustmaster wheels?

Entry wheels like the T128 (2 Nm) and T248 (3.5 Nm) use hybrid gear-and-belt motors. The T300 and T-GT II use quieter belt drive at around 4 to 6 Nm. The T598 and T818 use direct drive, where the motor connects straight to the rim for the strongest, most detailed feedback, with 5 Nm constant and up to 10 Nm peak on the T598.

Which Thrustmaster wheel is best for beginners?

The T128 and T248 are the usual starting points. Both include a pedal set, offer 900 degrees or more of rotation, and cost far less than direct-drive kits while still giving real force feedback in Gran Turismo 7, Assetto Corsa and the F1 series. The T248 adds a 3-pedal set and a small screen for a step up.

Is the T598 direct-drive wheel worth it over a belt-driven one?

The T598 brings direct-drive feel, 5 Nm constant torque, 10 Nm peak, very low latency and no gear cogging, at a price close to older belt wheels. It ships with a detachable rim and the Raceline pedal set and works on PS5, PS4 and PC, making it the value pick for sim racers wanting the direct-drive step up.

Do Thrustmaster racing wheels come with pedals?

Most bundles include pedals. The T128 and T248 come with 2- and 3-pedal sets respectively, and the T598 includes the Raceline LTE pedal set. Dedicated pedal sets such as the T3PM and T-LCM can also be bought separately and swapped in as you upgrade your setup.

Can I upgrade or change the wheel rim and pedals?

Yes. Thrustmaster uses a modular ecosystem, so many rims (for example Sparco and Ferrari-licensed wheels) and pedal sets attach to compatible bases. You can keep the base and change grips or pedals over time instead of replacing the whole setup, which spreads the cost of upgrading.

Which racing games work best with a Thrustmaster wheel?

Force feedback is supported in the major sim and sim-cade titles, including Gran Turismo 7, Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa Competizione, iRacing, the F1 series, EA Sports WRC and Forza. On console, check that your specific wheel is on the game's supported-hardware list, since support is tied to the wheel base.
