The Thrustmaster Leather 28 GT Wheel Add-On is a detachable racing wheel measuring 11 inches in diameter and wrapped in hand-stitched leather that stays comfortable through long sessions. Two mounted paddle shifters handle gear changes without your hands leaving the rim, and six action buttons sit within easy reach for everything else. It works for newcomers and experienced sim racers on the same rig.

Thrustmaster builds the TM Leather 28 GT from high-quality leather and metal components. The leather wrap covers a molded polyurethane ring and a steel internal hoop, the same layered approach luxury car manufacturers take, which improves comfort and how clearly feedback reaches your hands. Brushed metal elements carry the racing look on the central steering plate and the paddle shifters.

The brushed metal central steering plate holds six clearly labeled buttons, a 3-position rotary switch with a central push function, and a multidirectional D-pad. Behind the rim sit two paddle shifters measuring 5.1 inches each, large enough to find without looking. The whole layout is arranged around driving performance rather than appearance.

The Leather 28 GT Wheel Add-On is compatible with all Thrustmaster T-series racing wheels, specifically the T300 RS, T300 Ferrari GTE, T500 RS, Ferrari F1 Wheel Integral T500 and the TX Racing Wheel Ferrari 458 Italia Edition. If you already run one of those bases, this rim mounts onto the setup you have.

Thrustmaster's Quick Release technology makes this a detachable wheel, so it comes off the base instead of being fixed in place. That lets you move between rims such as the 599XX EVO 30 Wheel, GT Wheel, PS Wheel, Ferrari F1 Wheel, Ferrari 458 Challenge Wheel and Ferrari 458 Italia Wheel depending on the car and series you are running.
