What makes the K1C different from the K1?

The K1C is the upgraded version. Creality adds an AI camera, a quick-swap tri-metal Unicorn nozzle, and support for carbon fibre reinforced filament, on the same 600mm/s CoreXY platform.

Can the K1C really print carbon fibre filament?

Yes. Creality lists carbon fibre reinforced filaments as supported. For abrasive blends such as PA-CF you switch to the hardened stainless steel nozzle rather than the standard one.

Which materials does it handle?

Creality lists PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU, PA and PC among others. The 300C hotend and the 50N metal direct drive extruder are what open that range up.

How fast is it in practice?

The maximum is 600mm/s, reached in about 0.03 seconds thanks to 20000mm/s2 acceleration. Actual print times depend on the model, the material and your slicer profile.

Does the K1C come with the CFS multi-colour unit?

No. This is the CFS-ready 2025 model, so the Creality Filament System can be added afterwards, but the CFS unit is sold separately.

Is the chamber enclosed?

Yes, it has a sturdy enclosed chamber, which is what makes ABS and similar materials practical. There is also a built-in air filter and a silent mode.
