Extend PoE Reach and Improve Client Security
Turn on VLAN mode to prevent client-side hacking and stop sensitive data leakage; with VLAN enabled, downlink clients will only be able to communicate with uplink devices. For long-distance networking, enable Extend mode to connect clients up to 250 meters away by limiting the port speed to 10 Mbps.
