How many ports does the CUDY FS1010PG have?

It offers 8 Fast Ethernet PoE ports alongside 2 Gigabit uplink ports for the link back to your router or core switch.

How much power does each PoE port deliver?

Each PoE port supplies up to 30W under IEEE 802.3at and 802.3af, enough for access points, IP cameras, digital signage and most other PoE devices.

What is the total power budget of this 8-port switch?

The switch carries a 120W total PoE power budget shared across its eight powered ports.

Does the CUDY FS1010PG need an external power brick?

No, it has a built-in AC adapter and sits at a standard 1U height, so there is no separate power supply to find space for.

How does Watchdog auto-recovery work?

Watchdog monitors port activity and automatically reboots a PoE port when the connected device freezes and stops transmitting data for 5 minutes.

What does VLAN mode do on this switch?

When VLAN is active, downlink clients can only communicate with uplink devices, which helps prevent client-side hacking and stops sensitive data leaking between ports.

How far can the FS1010PG send data in Extend mode?

Extend mode reaches clients up to 250 metres away by limiting that port's speed to 10 Mbps.

What surge and ESD protection does this switch have?

It is rated at 6kV contact and 8kV air for ESD, with surge protection of 2kV differential and 4kV common mode on power and 4kV common mode on RJ45.

What is the CUDY 8-port PoE switch made from?

It uses a robust SPCC metal casing with Ethernet ports shielded in nickel-plated copper alloy for stable long-term operation.

Does this CUDY switch make any noise?

It uses a silent metal design with no fan, so it runs quietly enough to sit in an occupied room.
