A full tower is not a mid tower with more air in it. The volume exists to hold things a smaller chassis cannot: a thick radiator at the front and a second one on top at the same time, a graphics card that is both long and four slots deep, a full complement of mechanical drives, or a motherboard wider than standard ATX. With none of those in the plan, the extra height mostly costs desk space.

Where these cases catch people out is in the interactions between those figures. Fitting the largest radiator the specification allows usually shortens the card the case will then accept, and a deep card can foul cables that were meant to route past it. Read the manufacturer's clearance table as a set of trade-offs rather than a list of maximums, and measure the parts you already own before ordering.
